Roads and real estate topped the discussions Monday evening as the Wapakoneta City Council entertained a light agenda.
At-Large Councilman Dan Graf couldn’t make the meeting, but a few of the items in his report from the Streets and Alleys Committee, which he chairs, sparked concerns.
A few of the items in the report indicate repairs to be done to several streets. Finance Committee Chair and Third Ward Councilwoman Bonnie Wurst questioned the items, stating that City Auditor Wilbur Wells told her there was no money in the budget for street work.
Safety-Service Director Chad Scott said he was told differently, noting that some money was allocated to street projects and pointed out that money going into the RiverScape project does not all have to be paid in 2016, as previously thought.
Scott agreed to seek clarification on the matter with Wells.
