In the Auglaize County Courthouse is a student who is about to finish up her last week as an intern in Judge Frederick Pepple’s office. Australian student Dania Ammouche, 23, received the opportunity of a lifetime when she got the chance to study law and broaden her knowledge even further in Wapakoneta for the past three weeks.
The journey started for her when she took a class that Judge Pepple was teaching at Muenster University in Muenster, Germany, during an exchange program.
“(Pepple) was one of my teachers and he does the internships for German students and I think he mentioned it one time and I wasn't sure if I was eligible because I was Australian. I spoke with him and he said I was able to apply so I applied and he said just give me the (available) dates, because my summer is different,” Ammouche said.
