Committee OKs fairgrounds sign

The City Council’s Streets and Alleys Committee gave their approval Tuesday to a “way finding” sign for the Auglaize County Fairgrounds.

The two-sided sign will be placed on West Auglaize Street at Dearbaugh Avenue to direct people to the fairground’s gates.

The fair board approved the design of the sign in the summer. It follows closely the red and white signs that appear downtown.
