W-G unveils 'Maker Den' to board members

One coaster, cutting board, poster, tumbler, at a time, Waynesfield-Goshen schools are cutting out their niche.

In a move that puts them on the razor's edge of technology, the school opened up their maker space–now officially called "The W-G Maker Den"–in what was formally the media center, and the results speak for themselves.

Prior to Monday's Board of Education meeting, Chelsea Junkins and Brian Shaw, two staff members who have overseen the launch of the Maker Den, showed off the treasure trove of items students have created with the new equipment, which includes 3-D printers, laser cutters, printers, and engravers, a green screen, robotics equipment, computer software, and much more.

All of which puts W-G a cut above the rest–at least within the region.
