There have been a few tweaks to Wapakoneta based Community Health Professionals' upcoming Beacon of Hope celebration.
The event, which serves as a fundraiser for the non-profit home health and hospice organization, has been pushed back a week and moved to a new venue.
Now set for the evening of May 10, the Beacon of Hope has been moved to the Large Group Room at Wapakoneta High School.
Melissa Hittepole, the Event and Volunteer Coordinator for CHP, cited multiple reasons for the changes.
The headliner for the evening is the Wapakoneta High School Theatre Arts Club, who will be performing a gameshow–audience participation included– and moving to the Large Group Room will provide a more suitable space for the show.
"This allows the kids to make the most of their performance," Hittepole said. "There were going to be some restrictions with them performing at a banquet hall versus the school."
