The documentary has to “tell itself,” but Wapakoneta may be part of the story.
Joey Rinaldi, a month away from his New York University graduation, had camera in hand Saturday, following the Very Good Comedy Show comedians during their visit to Wapakoneta. Rinaldi is an aspiring comedian as well as first-time film maker and is hoping to debut his documentary sometime in 2019.
He’s thinking it will be titled “A Very Good Documentary,” playing off his time with the five-member comedy troupe. He’s thrilled to be able to be on the road with Eric Grooms and Robert Punchur.
“I’m an aspiring comedian; I just started to perform two years ago, so to have the chance to work with Aric and Robert as the producers of this show, and the comedians they have as part of it is a huge deal for me,” Rinaldi said. “These guys are veterans of comedy and to appear with them – that’s huge.”
