The 2018 High School Invitational Art Show and Competition kicked off last Saturday afternoon at the Riverside Art Center in Wapakoneta, bringing in art students from all over the county.
Art programs from Wapakoneta High School, St. Marys Memorial High School, New Knoxville High School and Minster High School took part, filling the gallery with original works in a variety of mediums, including oil paints, watercolors, pencil, cardboard, ceramics, even books.
The gallery, which is supported by the Ohio Arts Council, hosted and coordinated the event, inviting Bill Millmine, a Lima West Middle School art teacher to judge the contest.
