WAPAKONETA, OH
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Auglaize County that extends from 4 p.m. on Friday until 10 a.m. on Saturday.
The Auglaize County Sheriff sent out an alert via Nixle, stating 2 to 3 inches of snow are possible overnight.
The Advisory includes most of the surrounding area, including Allen, Mercer, Shelby and Van Wert Counties.
The storm is expected to effect large portions of West Central Ohio and East Central Indiana.
The National Weather Service advises that roads may be slippery through the evening and visibilites could be reduced. Drivers are suggested to use caution and be prepared for extended travel times this evening.
The snow is expected to begin falling between 4 and 5 p.m.
