School board selects Little to fill seat

The Wapakoneta City Schools Board of Education's vacant board member position has been filled by Josh Little, CEO of the Wapakoneta YMCA.

Little will continue the unexpired term left by former board member Eric McKinniss and then will be the board's appointment for 2016 and 2017, which is a two year term, WCS Board President Patrick Gibson said.

“I think Josh brings a strong business sense, as well as a presence in the community that we thought would be very beneficial,” Gibson said.

The board held a special meeting on Tuesday evening to interview candidates. Little was one of four potential board members. Gibson said all were very qualified and noted the decision was not an easy one.
