On Saturday evening, the Performing Arts Center was the sight of singing, dancing and much more. Several Wapakoneta High School students took part in the annual Redskin Revue. There were 15 acts.
Performers included the group Jump, Jive n' Whale, the trio of Dakota Dillon, Eli Kentner and Micah Nicol; Emily Buchanan, Emma Craft and Eva Williams; reigning Miss Summer Moon Emma Walker with her original spoken word performance, “I Am a Mess of Things." Later on, Austin Gegel made the audience laugh by playing some percussion on his face.
Wrapping up the show was the WHS show choir, Singsation, performing its 2015-2016 competition show, “Louder Than Words.”
The Redskin Revue has been a tradition at WHS for several years. All proceeds made from it benefit the school's choral program.
