The Cridersville Police Department is looking for any information on a recent string of vandalisms that have taken place village.
According to Cridersville Police Chief John Drake the first incident of vandalism took place roughly three weeks ago where a subject spray painted vulgar words at the town pond. A similar incident took place at Legacy Park with someone spray painting vulgar words and drew inappropriate pictures in the parking lot. The spray paint has since been removed.
Another incident took place where a suspect had thrown a picnic table into the town pond.
The most recent act of vandalism to take place was a swing at Legacy Park being set on fire Tuesday around 4:30 p.m. According to Chief Drake a bystander managed to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher before authorities arrived on scene.
