Temporary arrangements were discussed for the LACCA office at Auglaize Acres on Thursday due to the impending construction for the Acres’ new elevator.

Commissioners Don Regula and John Bergman, Administrator Erica Preston and County IT Manager Cameron Ruppert met with Auglaize Acres maintenance director Austin Fisher to talk about temporarily relocating one of the four LACCA office rooms closest to the future site of the new elevator, where construction will be starting June 24.

Both the LACCA and Ohio Means Jobs offices are currently on the second floor of the Acres building, and the one LACCA office will be relocated to two rooms currently being used for storage.

It is not exactly certain when the relocation will happen but it will likely be soon, Preston said, as construction is scheduled to begin June 24. The project will be completed by at least Nov. 1, according to the contract agreement for the elevator.

See Friday's June 17 paper for the full story.
