The annual Wapakoneta Noon Optimist Club Carnival at the WaterPark will make its return Wednesday from noon to 4 p.m.

The event takes place at the Wapakoneta WaterPark. Kids can come out and enjoy carnival games such as plinko, mini basketball, whiffle ball toss and more. The club will also be providing kids with free bottled water, pretzels and orange drink from McDonalds.

New to the event this year will be help from the Summer Moon Festival Pageant contestants.

Kids will have to pay the cost of admission to the waterpark and for anything they may want from the concession stand. There will also be a vendor selling shaved ice, which will cost money as well. Everything else is provided by the club. The day will also feature hourly attendance prizes, but children must be present to redeem them, she said.
