Industrial park hits power snag

During Monday’s meeting of the Cridersville Village Council, Greg Myers spoke to council about the SiteOhio committee with the hopes of building an industrial park.

“The committee was proposing a new industrial site which would have been from the county line to Mudsock Road,” Myers said. “They had meetings with property owners, committee and council members, but the challenges are that the utilities are on the opposite side of the site on I-75 and getting those to the site would have been a challenge.”

Many of the locations on the site’s map were deemed to be severe challenges and “fatally flawed.” The council and Myers will discuss the issues and try to come up with ways to resolve them.
