Chamber of Commerce hosts Meet the Candidates

Tonight’s the night.

Wapakoneta High School will be the site of a Meet the Candidates and Learn the Issues event from 7 to 9 p.m., sponsored by the Wapakoneta Area Chamber of Commerce.

The forum will provide an opportunity to meet the candidates running for city office in the Nov. 3 election: Incumbent Mayor Rodney Metz and his opponent, Tom Stinebaugh; and City Auditor Gail Walter and her challenger, Wilbur Wells.

Also on the agenda is a discussion of several issues voters will face on the ballot.
