The United Way of Auglaize County will hold its fifth annual Day of Caring Saturday.
“What we do is we partner volunteers with projects that benefit our agencies, and those projects in the past have ranged anywhere from gardening to ramp building to painting to, we actually put up a fence one year for the Crisis Center, so we've done a lot of different projects,” Executive Director Randy Fisher said.
This year's projects will include work at Mercy Unlimited, building a ramp for an agency in New Knoxville and doing landscaping at the Auglaize County Public Library. The projects get completed during the course of the day, he said. Fisher is still looking for more volunteers.
Those interested in volunteering can call the United Way of Auglaize County at 419-739-7717.
