Many people from far and near came to St. Joseph Parish Center on Saturday to show their help and support to a local firefighter. An Evening for Alan had people come in to play games, take a chance at winning an auction item, eat food and and to help Alan McClintock.
McClintock, a former firefighter, has had mountains of expenses since his accident last year, an accident that left him with multiple broken bones and resulted in one of his legs being amputated. Alan, who was accompanied by his wife Stacie, found the enormous display of support very humbling.
“Words can’t describe Stacie and I’s gratitude for everybody and everything they’ve done,” McClintock said. “The hours that these people spent putting this together, words can’t describe it.”
