It may still be hot and humid outside, but the Wapakoneta Daily News is asking its readers to think ahead to winter – and not just winter but the holiday season.
“We want to publish a special section of holiday memories,” explained Publisher Deb Zwez, “and we are inviting our readers to share their memories of Christmases and holiday seasons past. We intend to publish them all together in one commemorative book.”
Zwez said she’s heard so many positive comments about the memories shared in recent months from area residents that it inspired the idea to collect memories of a shared experience.
Stories and photographs should be submitted by Friday, Oct. 23, and can be emailed to publisher@wapakwdn.com (photos should be sent as .jpg images) or dropped off to the newspaper at 520 Industrial Drive. The newspaper will need a couple of days to scan any submitted photos, but all will be returned as soon as they’re processed.
