Forum will focus on Alzheimer's

Alzheimer's, dementia, and memory loss can be tough to deal with, in terms of both the patient and their friends and family.

But later this month, the Northwest Ohio Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is offering those affected by the disease a chance to learn, to speak out, and to listen.

Set to be hosted from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Wapakoneta City Hall, 701 Parlette Court, on January 29, the Alzheimer's Community Forum is a part of the Association's nationwide effort to educate people about the disease, as well as hear the needs of those who might need help.

The free program will be hosted by Pam Myers, the program director of the Alzheimer's Association's Northwest Ohio chapter, which covers 24 counties in the region.
