The Ohio Statehouse is getting in on the 2019 Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing, and on Wednesday, received some help from a few Auglaize County historians in order to do so.
Representatives from the Armstrong Air and Space Museum and the Auglaize County Historical Society made the trip down to Columbus earlier this week to install a display in the capitol's 'Map Room.'
The display, which will be on exhibit until the end of July, celebrates the roots, the accomplishments, and the global impact of Wapakoneta's favorite son, Neil Armstrong.
