Winter version of Farmers' Market alive & well in Buckland

Rain, shine or snow, the Wapakoneta Farmers’ Market is up and running.

In years past, the Farmers’ Market has been a summertime staple in Belcher Park behind downtown Wapakoneta, where they set up shop every Saturday from May through October.

But this year, market organizers are working through the winter.

On the first and second Saturday of each month, November through April, the Famers’ Market is open for business, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Buckland Silos, 101 N. Main St., with their usual selection of homemade and handcrafted items including baked goods, coffee, candles, crafts, and more.

And even on days like Saturday, with steady snow showers continuing through the morning...
