On Thursday night, the public will have their first chance to see sculptor Michael Tizzano's progress on his current project–a statue of Neil Armstrong.
The Westerville, Ohio based sculptor was commissioned by the Armstrong Air and Space Museum Association to create the bronze statue commemorating the Wapakoneta native's homecoming parade, following the 1969 Apollo 11 mission to the Moon.
Part of what attracted Tizzano to the association was his 'public sculpting events,' the first of which will be held on Thursday evening in the Wapakoneta Middle School...
