Once again, Cridersville Elementary School is seeking the assistance of the community to help bring a few extra learning tools to the classroom.
Through 'Thank America's Teachers,' a Farmers Insurance program that awards grants to schools across the country, the staff hopes to win a $2,500 grant that will–if all goes as planned–go toward new events staff members would like to implement at the school.
The grant money is awarded through a contest, with the proposals being voted on by the general public.
Last year, teacher Renee Davis was nominated to represent the school, with hopes of putting the grant money toward the school's Maker's Space classroom.
