Riverside celebrates children's artwork

After a summer of hard work at the Riverside Art Center, kids from Wapakoneta and beyond finally got to show off the product of their time in the downtown art gallery's Children's Summer Artworks class.

The class, which included kids ages 6 to 12, gave the kids a chance at working with a number of mediums, including oil pastels, print-making, watercolors, acrylics, and papier-mâché, all of which were hanging on the gallery's walls and displayed on tables during the Sunday afternoon reception.

The show gave parents their first look at what their children had worked on over the weekly summer sessions.
