Waynesfield-Goshen Local School District welcomed back a familiar face at the Board of Education's regular meeting on Monday evening.
Jocelyn Hennon, a New Hampshire native and 2007 graduate of her new employer, was approved by the Board to take on a position as the Physcial Education and Health teacher for grades 7-12.
Hennon, the valedictorian of W-G's 2007 class, brings a lengthy resume back with her, having spent the last seven years teaching and coaching at Lima West Middle School and Lima Senior High School, where she was the Chair of the Health and Physical Education Department and won the 2015-2016 Lima Senior High School Teacher of the Year award.
She also brings some experience to the W-G Athletic Department, where she has already served as an assistant and volunteer track and cross country coach since 2009. She also spent the last year as the Lima Senior JV girls basketball coach.
