It'll be much of the same for the 54th edition of the Botkins Carousel.
Next weekend's annual festival sees the return of some of the most popular events and activities, with the Carousel Queen Pageant, the Hometown Proud 5k, the Carousel Parade, and the Battle of Botkins Dodgeball Tournament all set to fill out the jam-packed schedule.
The Pageant, held in the Botkins Junior High Gym at 7 p.m. on Friday, will see eight soon-to-be high school seniors compete for the title of Carousel Queen.
Abigale Wright, Adriana Jutte, Faith Cisco, Janell Greve, Tiara Greve, Lindsey Okuley, Nevaeh Parks, and Olivia Lenhart will all be vying for the crown.
Plenty will also be trying to come out on top in the Battle of Botkins. The dodgeball tournament begins at 12 p.m. on Saturday at the ball field adjacent to the Community Pool.
