It's official: YMCA tops capital campaign goal

Quick on the heels of last week's update a week prior to the official close of the capital campaign, two significant pledges were made to push the final number past the goal, and the Wapakoneta Family YMCA officially announced volunteers have helped raise more than $2.7 million to expand and improve the local facility.

Campaign cabinet members met one last time Wednesday to hear the news and update the thermometer on the YMCA's front lawn.
