Foundation grant helps Sister Cities exchange

On Thursday, the Wapakoneta Area Community Foundation awarded a $1,000 grant to the Sister Cites of Wapakoneta. The grant will assist the Sister Cities in their funding of the 2018 Student Exchange Program.

The Wapakoneta-Lengerich Sister Cities Program began in the early 1990s and has been active with its student exchange and adult exchange programs for over twenty years.

Sister cities is a volunteer effort that works toward uniting citizen diplomats in relationships that promote friendship, peace and prosperity.
