Wapakoneta High School fire extinguished

Around 2:15 p.m. today, smoke was sighted near the second floor elevator of Wapakoneta High School. The fire reportedly started in the second floor bathroom, according to scanner traffic. The Wapakoneta Fire Department and Police Department came to the scene and scanner traffic indicated that the fire has been extinguished. All students were evacuated and sent home.
