Museum offers Day of Discovery

Wapakoneta’s Armstrong Air and Space Museum will observe Columbus Day — a U.S. holiday that commemorates the landing of Christopher Columbus in the New World on October 12, 1492 — with its annual Day of Discovery event.
Chris Moynihan, program director for the local museum, said this year's participants will have an opportunity to complete a scavenger hunt by discovering a missing clue to solve a puzzle for a prize; tinker with electrical wiring, conductors and insulators while learning about electrical cars; and...
