The Wapakoneta City Council’s Buildings, Lands and Building Code Committee looked at the placement of political signs, set times for garage sales, discussed a proposed cell tower, and continued work on a downtown preservation grant.
After a review of the city ordinance regarding signs in the public right-of-way and on public property, the committee voted Tuesday to recommend that a section be added to the ordinance that reads: Political signs shall not be placed in the public right-of-way and/or any public property.
