The Wapakoneta City Schools Board of Education met Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Wapakoneta Middle School library and, in addition to recognizing nine outstanding middle school students, the board also received thanks from the Wapakoneta Flag Line, heard a request from the volleyball program for a summer team-building experience and accepted a design-build proposal from Perfection Group for Building Automation System Replacement.
Kim Mertz, flag line advisor, spoke on behalf of her students, who were all present at the meeting.
