Light winter leads to heavy crashes

As hard as it's to believe, it is January and the temperature is not indicative of the normally frigid month. Still, it is winter after all.
Last week, when the roads were icy in the morning, cars were in ditches, on their roofs, or had hit other cars. Police, fire trucks and ambulances were called to various scenes to assist the stranded drivers.
