Saturday night the Waynesfield-Goshen boys basketball team took on Jackson Center and while that is nothing new, there was something different about this game.
Both teams wore lime green socks and both sets of cheerleaders wore lime green hair bows. Most of the people in the crowd were also wearing something that was lime green. Some even had special T-shirts with lime green on it and lime green bracelets would be handed out for anyone who wanted one. It was all done because of one person, Susan Henderson.
Henderson was born in Sidney in 1951 and graduated from Wapakoneta High School in 1969. Susan went on to raise three daughters and nine grandchildren. She worked at the Honda plant in Anna for 22 years and was an active member of the New Hampshire Community Church. She also loved floral design, baking, and...
