Wapakoneta school board member resigns

Eric McKinniss has resigned from the Wapakoneta City Board of Education and the remaining board members have the task of filling this vacancy.

Board President Pat Gibson said Friday that McKinniss, who is in his second term, will resign from the school board effective Saturday. 

McKinniss has been a member of the Wapakoneta City Schools Board of Education for almost eight years. His resignation is due to his acceptance of a new professional position in Columbus.
