WAPAKONETA, OH
Tom Stinebaugh wants better streets. Rodney Metz wants an improved quality of life. And they both want your vote to be the next mayor of Wapakoneta.
The two faced off Tuesday at the Wapakoneta Area Chamber of Commerce's Meet the Candidates and Learn the Issues event held before a capacity crowd in Wapakoneta High School's large group room. The forum included an overview of four levy requests on the November ballot as well as questions posed by the city's two auditor candidates, incumbent Gail Walter and challenger Wilbur Wells.
But the bulk of the forum was dedicated to the mayoral candidates who gave prepared answers to questions received beforehand, we well as questions posed from the crowd.
