According to a Facebook post by Petersburg Parishes, LeeAnn Jose died peacefully Saturday morning at 6:47 in the University of Toledo Hospital.
“LeeAnn's family thanks the Wapakoneta community for praying for her and them,” the post states. “Please continue your prayers.
Wapakoneta City Schools, where LeeAnn was a junior, released a statement late Saturday morning on its Facebook page.
“Our hearts are filled with sorrow this morning as we have learned of the passing of LeeAnn Jose,” the WCS post states. “There are not adequate words to express how much we will miss LeeAnn. LeeAnn was a beautiful soul, a cherished friend and a talented student. She will remain in our hearts in treasured memories. We ask that you keep her family in your prayers as they mourn her loss. We also ask that you keep her friends, classmates, our students and our staff in your thoughts.”
