According to the law office representing a suspended Cridersville teacher accused in a sex case, their client’s case will not go to trial.

During an investigation into a motion Lori Anderson’s attorney, Christopher Bucio, of Sidney, made to exclude evidence about Anderson’s sexual activity, a representative at the law office told the Wapakoneta Daily News that Anderson has made a plea bargain and the case will not go to trial. Anderson’s trial was set to begin Monday.

Anderson, 51, was charged with 12 counts of rape, 10 counts of sexual battery and one count each of gross sexual imposition and obstructing justice, which are all felonies. She was also charged with obstructing official business, which is a misdemeanor. She pleaded innocent to all charges and has been out on bond since Nov. 10.
