The Wapakoneta Daily News received a press release from a senior White House official, sharing background on President Trump's visit:

On May 5, 2017, Australian businessman Anthony Pratt made a commitment to President Trump that he would invest $2 billion in the United States as a direct result of the President’s business friendly policies. During his remarks, Pratt promised to add thousands of high- paying manufacturing jobs in the Midwest because President Trump “made America the greatest place in the world to manufacture.” This month, Pratt will be fulfilling a portion of this commitment with the opening of a state-of-the-art, recycled paper mill in Wapakoneta, Ohio.

The President’s visit to the plant on Sunday proves that his Administration’s pro-growth agenda continues to attract global investment and job creation throughout the United States.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison MP of Australia and Ambassador Joe Hockey will also join the President for this announcement.

This event comes on the heels of the Australian Official Visit to Washington D.C., which will begin on Thursday, September 19. Following this trip, the President will head to the United Nations General Assembly in New York, where he will continue to engage with foreign leaders on matter of international significance. Through his strong relationships with world leaders like Prime Minister Morrison, the President continues to expand our economy and trade partnerships across the world.

This is President Trump’s 12th visit to Ohio during his Presidency. He last held a rally in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 1, 2019.
