Former Cridersville Chief of Police John Drake was fined $50 after entering a guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of falsification Wednesday in Auglaize County Municipal Court. The case was heard by retired Judge Thomas M. Hanna of Kettering.
According to the Ohio Attorney General, Drake pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor falsification charge associated with making a false statement on a notarized document. Drake signed for a notary and used the notary’s stamp on a license suspension form associated with an OVI stop.
