Gas leak at West Auglaize and Hamilton Street

According to scanner traffic, a gas leak sprung up near the intersection of West Auglaize Street and Hamilton Street as of 9:20 a.m. this morning. Authorities have closed all access to West Auglaize Street by Hamilton Street where the incident occurred. Scanner traffic indicated that evacuation of the homes in the area is deemed unnecessary. The Wapakoneta Fire Department is currently on scene.
