The Five-Year Forecast for Waynesfield-Goshen Local Schools finances projects that the district will be running a deficit this year, but that doesn't really mean much treasurer Tonia Hovest says.
"This is information is what we know of based on today," Hovest told the Board of Education during their regular meeting on Monday. "Tomorrow it could all change."
Every October, school districts across Ohio are required to present their predictions of the next five fiscal years.
Just a quarter of the way through the 2019 fiscal year, Hovest presented the Board with her Five-Year Forecast on Monday and compared this year's expenses and receipts to that of the budget.
