Progress visible at new diner

Slowly but surely, the future location of LuLu's Diner in Wapakoneta is coming together.

The popular breakfast and lunch spot, which already operates out of two locations in Lima and a third in Bluffton, acquired the property at 802 Gardenia Drive earlier this year, and owners Amy and Justin Musil have since been working on turning the former laundromat into the city's newest restaurant.

The former use of the site did cause some delays, as the couple initially hoped to have the location open by the end of the summer, but soil testing and a few permits were required before they could continue on with the project.
