The rain stayed away on Saturday, leaving clear skies for Armstrong Air and Space Museum’s Rocket Weekend.
Visitors to the Wapakoneta Museum spent the day building, launching, and learning about rockets for the second annual weekend celebration of rocketry and aeronautics.
Outside, members of the Wright Stuff Rocketeers put on quite the show, launching their own rockets, as well as those made in the rocket building workshops, that took place throughout the day, on their custom made launch pad.
It was a return visit for the second ranked rocketry club in the National Association of Rocketry, who also appeared last year to demonstrate at Rocket Weekend.
