Pratt Industries multi-million dollar investment in its new Wapakoneta plant is just one of the ways the business is “making good on our pledge” to create 5,000 high-paying jobs, mainly in the Midwest.

At least that’s what the company told the readers of the Wall Street Journal Thursday in a full-page ad that featured a photo of Pratt’s new home in the West Central Ohio Industrial Center.

Company owner Anthony Pratt placed the ad, titled “Creating Jobs in the Midwest.” Pratt himself made national headlines in December when he met with President Donald Trump and promised a $2 billion investment over the next 10 years, creating 5,000 high-paying manufacturing jobs.
